The Government is the main contributor to the fund as provided under section 13 (a) of the Education Fund Act, 2001.  In fulfilling this obligation the Government contributes to the fund such sum not exceeding two percent (2%) of the annual government recurrent budget less the amount payable in defraying the national debt.

Who Qualifies

The Education Fund supports education projects from institutions or schools, not individuals. To qualify for consideration for the TEA support the applying educational institution or school should be registered by the following relevant authorities

Financing Partners

TEA is eager and willing to collaborate with any financing partners aiming at improving education.  The partners may form collaboration via developing a joint funding proposal, joint support for education projects, and or sponsorship of Fund Assisted projects.  Some of the partners have pledged to contribute to Education Fund sustainably.
