In Application based approach, TEA receives applications for support from all levels of education.  These applications are in form of Project Write-up or Filled-in the prepared Project Proposal Format. For application-based approach, documents are endorsed by the relevant authorities according to the levels of education. For example, in Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Schools Levels, the prepared project documents are signed by the Head of School and must be verified and endorsed  by Council Director. For Universities and Technical Colleges Education Levels, the prepared  project documents from respective institutions are forwarded directly to the Director General of Tanzania Education Authority.
